Lignin is a by-product of the paper and pulp industry, where it is produced in quantities of over 50 million tonnes annually during the pulping of wood.
ARBOFORM® consists entirely of renewable raw materials, is biodegradable and revolutionises the way the timber and plastics industries work together. For the timber industry, ARBOFORM® enables the cost-effective production of precision-moulded timber components. At the same time, it offers the plastics processing industry the opportunity to replace petroleum-based materials with a technically advanced bioplastic – whilst also opening up new fields of application that were previously unattainable with conventional plastics.
